Gyasi Zardes will be very dangerous when he finishes chances
There is no question that Zardes was an absolute menace to the Chicago defense in the first half. The Galaxy played Keane slightly further back in a play making role, which left Zardes up front to use his pace to make runs into open spaces. The youngster did a fantastic job of finding the holes that attacking fullbacks left, and used them to collect through balls. The problem came on his final touch, whether it was finishing or decision making.

On one occasion in the first half, he had the wherewithal to notice that Lovel Palmer had joined the attack on the right side and found the open space to make a run behind him. After collecting the ball, he tried to make a feed to the back post. While, if executed, it would have been an excellent play, a more confident Zardes who realizes how skilled he really is will eventually take it all the way to the goal and finish it himself.
There is no question the American product is ready to make a heavy impact for the LA Galaxy. He just needs to assert himself and not disappear for stretches in the match like he did in the second half. There is no question that once the lad scores, they will start coming in bunches.
