Yes why stay somewhere where you are playing your best soccer of your career, making the most $ of your career and being the best player in the league. It’s improving but he is still dominating the League. He could make more elsewhere and challenge himself. It’s a risk to stay in MLS.

Completely agree that him staying is great for MLS. Just think all players should try to excel in the best league possible. For Giovinco, it is elsewhere.

The reality is that articles like this is the reason MLS won’t progress to it’s fullest potential. Giovinco has stated many times that he does not really want to leave, and why should he? He is being reveled as the best player in the league, he is scoring goals, he’s a respected 1st team player, something he rarely got in Europe. Yes, challenge is always good, and yes, I am a big Toronto FC fan so my opinion is bias, but personally I think that Toronto is still currently the best place for Seba. MLS needs plays like him

He should leave and give up his huge contract for a pay cut Europe? Spoken like somebody who isn’t playing In Toronto. There’s no way I would ever take a cut in pay when somebody will over pay me to play a kids game.
