Real Madrid could finally land Premier League ace in the summer

Real Madrid are looking to land a striker in the summer and have thought about bringing in one of the biggest names from the Premier League.

Real Madrid returned to the summit of La Liga following their 2-0 win in the El Clasico on Sunday evening, where Vinicius Junior and Mariano Diaz were the scorers.

The Merengues got a much-needed victory to ease off the pressure from Zinedine Zidane’s head, but their problem of poor conversion was persistent in the first half and early stages of the second.

Don Balon has reported that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is now on the Whites’ radar as they hope to answer their goal-scoring woes.

The England international and talisman is currently serving a lengthy injury lay-off, but will definitely be a part of Jose Mourinho’s ambitious plans in north London as soon as comes back.

Harry Kane is valued at 140 million euros by the footballing experts, but it is hard to see the Lilywhites letting go of their ace marksman for anything less than 200 million euros.

The 26-year-old is already one of their top goal-scorers ever and promises to achieve more as the years pass by, and more so if he clicks well under Jose Mourinho’s system.

Jose Mourinho’s men were on the wrong end of a 2-3 score versus a spirited Wolverhampton Wanderers, but under the Portuguese manager, there is no doubt that the north Londoners will bounce back.

Moreover, with Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min having rejuvenated since the last couple of months, Spurs will definitely push for a Champions League finish.

Currently, Tottenham are chasing a 1-0 deficit against RB Leipzig and have work to do in the second leg without their master scorer.

Kane has insisted several times that he wants to be a one-club man and that does not seem to be a changing ambition unless things go horribly wrong over the course of the next few weeks, another very unlikely happening.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos would be better off giving some more chances to Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz rather than banking on the transfer market.

As it is, they are expected to sign Kylian Mbappe inevitably in 2021 if not anytime earlier so it does not make sense to spend in excess of 100 million euros for a year’s satisfaction when there is quality in the roster.

Do you see Harry Kane leaving Spurs to join Real Madrid at any point in his career?
