Commitment

The London club lacks this in spades. Their recent game with Manchester City is one example of the huge gap between the two clubs.

That is one of the most pathetic approaches to a match that a football team has had. Chelsea’s players have in recent years perfected the role of lazy, non-committed and overconfident stars who betray not only their club and it’s supporters, but also their manager. Chelsea being Chelsea, Antonio Conte, who is about as fine an example of manager as exists under the sun, will be fired for his players lack of effort.

These Chelsea players showed last season exactly how good they can be. The issue is that between the lot of them, there might not even be a single vertebra let alone a spine. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. At Chelsea, though, they roll around and complain, ask for raises and then down tools to get the manager fired.

To every single child who watched this game and was learning about the majesty of football and the joys that it can bring. The team in dark blue are everything you don’t want to be.
