Arsenal fans react to Perez and Mustafi signings
Arsenal fans have been screaming for Arsene Wenger to sign a striker and a center back. Now that he has see how supporters have reacted to the addition of Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi
Arsenal fans have made it very clear how angry they have been at the club’s lack of summer signings. Nowhere has this been more apparent than on Twitter. Every rumor of a star signing was met with excitement only to be followed by disappointment. Then Twitter would erupt with a stream of vitriolic tweets using the hashtag #WengerOut and other language not fit for print.
Here are just a few of the thousands of tweets that have flooded Twitter throughout the summer transfer window.

Glad there’s only 7 days left of the transfer window so I can stop stupidly getting my hopes up that @Arsenal actually sign someone we need

@Arsenal Sign a striker and a defender will you. If Wenger doesn’t want to then fire him and find someone who will do the job properly!

It’s pretty clear that fans were fed up with Arsene Wenger’s inaction.

You would expect that the same Arsenal fans begging for the club to sign players for weeks would be happy. Of course that is not the case. To be fair many have posted positive reactions. However, proving that there are a lot of Gunners supporters who will never be happy check out the following comments.
Arsenal are in such a mess they’re willing to accept someone bang average like Lucas Perez, they’re settling for mediocrity AGAIN.

Perez and Mustafi are Arsenal’s panic buys after the frustration of fans was getting out of control.

If Wenger really wanted Perez he would have bought him earlier in the summer, like Xhaka. He is desperate. #afc#wengerout#whoislucasperez

Time will tell if Perez and Mustafi are indeed players that can help Arsenal mount a title challenge. Hopefully for the fans they will prove to be good signings. If not, you can expect to see the hashtag #WengerOut regularly on Twitter.
