Sergio Ramos involved in a bust-up with Real Madrid teammates
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has been involved in a clash of opinions with some of his teammates at the club over an ongoing issue.
Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has more than a foot outside of the Santiago Bernabeu and is probably moving to China where two lucrative contracts await him. The Wales international was also on the radars of Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, but it looks like he will go for money over motive, therefore heading to the Far East.
Bale has not displayed a serious attitude in training very often and that is something that strikes harder than his injury woes, which were no less of a headache. The 30-year-old does not even talk too often with his teammates due to his weakness in Spanish and is seen playing for a golf club more frequently than for the football club he is contracted with. All in all, he has frustrated not just Zidane but Solari in the past too, so the time is right for him to leave.
Diario GOL has reported that Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is involved in somewhat a row with teammate Luka Modric regarding the future of Gareth Bale at the Spanish capital. Karim Benzema is also one of the parties that have been involved, but the Frenchman is usually silent and does not speak too much in regards to absolutely anything.
Sergio Ramos wants Gareth Bale to leave because he simply does not see any commitment by the player to improve or at least make a case for himself. Karim Benzema, meanwhile, is supporting Zinedine Zidane’s decisions unconditionally, but Luka Modric is unhappy with what Gareth Bale is going through. The Croatia international feels that his friend and teammate from Tottenham’s days is being treated unfairly and Zidane is too harsh with his choice of words.
Nevertheless, Gareth Bale’s departure seems inevitable now. The Welshman could be replaced by Liverpool frontman Sadio Mane as per previous publications, but realistically, a move for the Champions League winner seems out of reach given how precious he is to the Reds. Hence, Florentino Perez will wait until next summer to try to sign Kylian Mbappe.
